Concrete Floating Docks

Harbormasters manufactures state-of-the-art concrete floating dock systems for commercial marinas, as well as floating concrete breakwater units used as “Wave Attenuators” to create protected marina basins for Super Yachts and Small Craft Harbors.

HMI’s marina pontoon-style concrete dock system, with a 50-year service life, achieves the highest structural and load-carrying capacity of any floating dock system, while at the same time presenting a high-end marina aesthetic and exceptional stability.

For utility access, our concrete docks feature deep, top-entry utility channels, with sweeps to power substations as well as power posts.  These channels allow for the heavy-duty utilities needed to power large vessels. Additional conduits can be cast underneath the service channels for fuel systems and primary electrical feeder lines to the transformers.

HMI’s concrete floating dock sections are cast in long lengths, up to 80-feet in a single pour, and are joined together with large bolts and urethane blocks. This is known as an “articulated system” as the connected pontoons are allowed to flex during a storm event and dissipate the wave energy.
